Maps of South Australia
The three maps included are the State of South Australia, the Adelaide metropolitan area, and the City of Adelaide.
If you wish to magnify part of the place found, double click the point you wish to be in the centre and then click the [+] button one or more times to zoom in to the required level. On the other hand, if you are searching for a large area, you may need to zoom out by using the [-] button.
Negotiating the maps
Use the arrow buttons at the top left of each map to scroll and the [+] and [-] buttons or slide control to zoom in and out. For finer scrolling click and drag any point on the map. Double click any point on the map to move it to the centre. This is especially useful when zooming in on a particular location. The zoom controls allow viewing all the way from the entire world down to individual houses, trees and other features more than a couple of metres in size (in [Satellite] mode). Remember that the search is world-wide. So, for example, if you are trying to find the location of the South Australian town of Port Lincoln, you need to enter port lincoln south australia or pt lincoln sa in the search box at the top right of the map.
