Map of South Australia
Navigating the South Australian map
Use the arrow buttons at the top left of the map to scroll and the [+] and [-] buttons or slide control to zoom in and out. For finer scrolling click and drag any point on the map. Double click any point on the map to move it to the centre. This is especially useful when zooming in on a particular location. The zoom controls allow viewing all the way from the entire world down to individual houses, trees and other features more than a couple of metres in size (in [Satellite] mode).
Searching the map of SA for a place name
The search is world-wide, so, for example, if you are trying to find the location of the South Australian capital, Adelaide, you need to enter adelaide south australia or adelaide sa in the search box. The map is present-day only, so obsolete place names will not be found.
To magnify part of the map, double click the point you wish to centre and click the [+] button one or more times to zoom in to the required level. To view a larger area, zoom out with the [-] button.
